Daikin Applied Americas invest in CutPRO® Cut Resistant Clothing
Since 2021, CutPRO® has been supplying Daikin Applied Americas – Owatonna Plant, with our cut resistant garments.
They strongly believe in caring for their most precious asset, their people, which is why they have invested in cut resistant garments that will prevent injuries such as cuts, lacerations and abrasions.
Daikin’s ongoing commitment to providing the very best in PPE and workwear has seen their Owatonna plant invest heavily in our high quality and extremely durable cut-resistant crew neck tops for all their production staff.
In addition to the ANSI cut level 5 protection provided, workers at the Owatonna Plant have especially praised the superior fit and comfort of their new tops, noting how lightweight and ‘non-restrictive’ our lightweight breathable fabrics feel when working.
Commenting on this, the EHS team at the plant told CutPRO® that “having PPE that the workers are happy to wear greatly increases the likelihood that it will always be correctly worn and without resistance” thereby further reducing the risk of cut and laceration injuries.
In reality, since rolling out CutPRO® garments across the site, the Owatonna Plant has not just seen a reduction in cut and laceration injuries to the arms and torso, but a total elimination of them.
